It is with regret that we have decided to postpone this year’s conference due to take place in the East Belfast Networking Centre on Tuesday 24th March.

We have taken this decision due to the social upheaval caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the resulting cancellations and travel issues.

CLES Calls for MPs to Rethink UK Economy With New Manifesto

The Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) has this week launched an important new document, the Manifesto for Local Economies, in which it calls for a radical overhaul of the UK economy.

The paper has been released as political parties campaign for the UK general election in December and is intended to be a set of recommendations for the prospective government.
