What is the Community Ownership Fund?

The Community Ownership Fund (COF) gives local people control over the buildings and spaces that have significance to them and that these spaces are used in ways that meet the priorities and needs of the local community.

The £150 Million fund exists to help local communities across the UK to take control of assets, amenities or facilities that are at risk of loss without community intervention. It will run until 2024/25
Risk from:

  • Closure
  • Sale
  • Neglect and dereliction under current ownership
  • Energy inefficiency that threatens long-term sustainable operations
  • An unsustainable current business model

Make an  enquiry to see if your organisation fits this fund or any other enquries for COF .
